Who we are
We Are Safco
Local artisan foods are made from scratch, designed for today’s lifestyles. Safco is the first commercial falafel company in the Republic of Ireland.
Safco Fine Foods is a local artisan food product that was established in 2012 by entrepreneur Mohammed Rashid, in Dublin. Mohammed was formerly a restaurateur and chef. He is also the author of the cookbook "Chillies are Hot, Spices are Not". He lectures and demonstrates cookery classes. Mohammed Rashid has over 25 years of cheffing experience.
Safco was created to deliver healthy vegetarian food that doesn’t compromise on taste and quality.
All our products are made from scratch using fresh ingredients and are high in protein, a source of fibre, low in calories, free from additives and colouring and suitable for vegan. We produce falafel range, burgers range, sauces, hummus, and halal chicken curry. All at competitive prices.
